We just returned from our incredible trip to Myrtle Beach Travel Park, and we can’t recommend it enough! It has quickly become one of our new favorite destinations to visit. Our week-long stay on the beachfront site was simply not enough. The moment we arrived, we were captivated by the coastal paradise that awaited us.

The amenities at Myrtle Beach Travel Park are top-notch. We spent our days enjoying the beach, walking for hours and lazily floating along the lazy river in the campground The outdoor pool provided the perfect spot to cool off and relax under the warm sun. We had breakfast at the campground’s restaurant Breakfast By The Sea  and made more than a few trips to the snack bar and convenience store for quick bites and refreshing beverages. Laundry facilities are clean and there are many machines for ease of use. A big bonus was being able to walk our dog on the beach every day. Dogs are allowed from 5 PM until 10 AM every day.

Beyond the campground, Myrtle Beach offers a plethora of attractions and activities. We explored the lively boardwalk, meandering through shops and arcades, and immersing ourselves in the vibrant atmosphere. Broadway at the Beach provided endless entertainment options, from shopping to live shows, ensuring that there was never a dull moment.

A Friendly Community

During our stay, we had the pleasure of meeting other families who have been coming to Myrtle Beach Travel Park for decades. They shared their love for this place and gave us some fantastic recommendations. One of the highlights was discovering Wahoo Fish House in Murrells Inlet, a charming coastal fishing village just a short drive from the campground. We indulged in freshly caught fish that had been reeled in from the docks that very afternoon. The flavors were incredibly fresh and truly showcased the essence of coastal cuisine. After our meal, we took a leisurely stroll along the pier, taking in the breathtaking views and immersing ourselves in the rich history of this hidden gem.
